What Is MeRT®?

A treatment tuned to your brain's own rhythm.

MeRT® uses qEEG brain mapping to read your unique neural patterns, then guides a non-invasive stimulation protocol designed around your brain — never a template applied to it.

The MeRT® Process

Four steps to bring your brain back into rhythm.

  1. A soft EEG cap resting on a light wood table beside a small plant

    Step 01

    Read your brainwaves

A comfortable eyes-closed qEEG and EKG recording captures your brainwave frequencies and brain–heart coherence.

  2. A clinician reviewing a brainwave graph on a laptop

    Step 02

    Analyse your patterns

Your readings are translated into a treatment plan shaped by your brain's own rhythm, reviewed by a clinician in the Wave Neuro network.

  3. A person reclining calmly in a sunlit clinic chair

    Step 03

    Gentle, personalized sessions

You sit comfortably while a targeted magnetic coil delivers your protocol. A typical visit runs about 45 minutes.

  4. Hands writing notes in a small notebook next to a coffee cup

    Step 04

    Re-map. Refine. Repeat.

We periodically re-record your qEEG to see how your patterns are shifting and adjust the protocol as needed.

FAQ

Questions families and adults ask us most

Short, honest answers. If you don't see yours here, a quick call or note usually clears it up.

MeRT® is non-invasive and generally well tolerated. Most people describe a light tapping sensation on the scalp during sessions. If you're worried about tolerance — for yourself or your child — we'll walk you through exactly what to expect before anything begins.

Yes. MeRT® is a drug-free, non-invasive approach that uses gentle magnetic pulses guided by your qEEG brain map. It's designed to complement — not replace — medications or therapies prescribed by your healthcare provider.

The first visit is a calm consult plus a qEEG brain-mapping session with an EKG reading. We record your brainwave patterns, then our clinical team reviews the data with the Wave Neuro network to see whether MeRT® may be an appropriate next step for you.

Sessions are short — typically about 45 minutes, with roughly 30 minutes of gentle stimulation guided by your personal brain map. A full course is delivered on a defined schedule and we'll explain the rhythm during your consult.

Candidacy comes from the consult and your brain map — not the intake form. Some medical conditions and implanted devices are contraindications. Please see our Contraindications page and talk with our clinic and your healthcare provider.

Yes. You can book online through our Jane portal, or call the clinic directly at 778-504-6688. If you're not sure where to start, submit a short inquiry and our team will reach out.
